Q. Is this training mandatory in B.C.?
A. Job specific safety training is an Occupational Health and Safety requirement of every workplace. This program goes well above that minimum standard by including Conflict Avoidance, Officer Safety, Situational Awareness and Violence Prevention.
Q. Is there a certificate issued once I pass?
A. Yes. One will be emailed to you so you can download and print it off.
Q. Can I take this course as a stand alone program without taking the Bylaw or Animal Control officer courses?
A. Yes. It is intended for veteran officers, as well as people new to the industry.
