About Our Alberta Courses

Burgess And Associates has been teaching Security Officers, in Alberta for about 20 years. We provide training in Use of Force and handcuffing, and for Security Supervisors and Dispatchers. We are a Canadian General Standards Board approved (ISO 9001) company for training security guards who are deployed to Federally owned properties. Basic licensing training is also available via our partners.

Our Bylaw courses ( Animal Control and General Services Enforcement Officers) have been vetted by the B.C. Provincial Association (L.I.B.O.A.) and are being offered strictly online with Alberta specific content. This is NOT a peace officer training program. It is directed specifically to Municipal employees and private contractors.

Healthcare programs in Violence Prevention, Conflict Avoidance, and Violent Patient restraint certification is also available.
